Elizabethtown (Cameron Crowe)

I think I'll write something more substatial about Elizabethtown once I've had some sleep. I liked it but had more than a few problems with it. A little long and disjointed. I've had problems accepting Orlando Bloom as a leading man. He comes across as a bit foppish. So the over the top teengirl admiration has always astonished me. He handles himself pretty well in this one. Some great dialogue during his courtship with Kirsten Dunst. Don't want to give too much away here. But there is an excellent epilogue in the film that could have stood as its own short. In fact it was so good that it felt a little out of place coming after the film. It's late and I have a 9:15 screening tomorrow morn.
